Living Portrait Project I

Photographic installation at spring3d for the 2003 d.u.m.b.o. arts festival. A total of 800 people participated in the project during its installation by taking a self-portrait of themselves with the in-house digital capture system. For every 50 new photos, a composite print was created and exhibited. Viewable here is the print from the first 50 participants of opening night and the composites of all the males and females in the show. The installation was curated by Anna Cosentino and Steve Butcher at spring3d.
